Business Club in Austin

Austin Business Club (Texas)

Business in the USA: Discussion Club (2017 – present time)

Discussion Club “Business in the USA” meets every Saturday at 14:40 at 8401 Cameron Rd, Austin TX. This project has been developed by the Russian Cultural Center and is hosted every Saturday at the school Sputnik at 8401 Cameron Rd, Austin TX (website)

The fundamental focus of the club is bringing an expert speaker almost every Saturday (our experts are established company owners and professionals in marketing, investments, taxes, insurance issues, business registration, intellectual property, HR, IT, SEO, SMM). Austin is incredibly prolific in professionals and talented people who agree to give a presentation and conduct a Q&A with the attendees.

The club was organized by Dmitry Ovcharenko in 2017 and is offered as a “Business in the USA” class (September – May) at the Russian School Sputnik. Registration is open in August. The Club’s annual composition is 15 members (from our experience, 10-15 participants are the optimal number for a productive discussion and brainstorming of business ideas and projects in the format of a 1.5 hour weekly class). Participation is free. It is not necessary to be a parent of the children attending the school – the club is accessible to everyone (our experience shows that the club brings most value when its participants already have some business experience).

The Business Club provides an opportunity not only to get new knowledge from experts, but also a unique opportunity for business networking, as well as a social platform for making new connections.
