December 19th: Christmas Tree Celebration at the Sputnik School

On December 19th, the Russian School Sputnik hosted “Christmas Tree” event, a celebration for children with Christmas show, games, quests, and gifts. 

Many thanks to the actors, organizers, partners, and all the volunteers at the Russian Cultural Center in Austin.

There were many children’s smiles, and there was a true festive mood.

About Sputnik, the Russian School in Austin (in-person School on Saturdays): The Sputnik School is a non-profit organization that is part of the Russian Cultural Center in Austin. Classes are held at 2008 Justin Lane, Austin TX 78757. Children’s classes: Russian language, literature, drawing, pottery, music, theater, chess, robotics, science…and many more! Classes for adults: Spanish, English, yoga, drawing, business in the USA, etc. Both professional teachers and volunteers teach at the Russian School Sputnik in Austin. As of today (January 2021), this is the only place in Austin where several dozen families meet every week to communicate, teach languages, and develop creative projects.
