Russian-speaking Childcare Mishki

Childcare Mishki at the Russian Cultural Center in Austin is a cozy, safe, and eventful environment for children aged 18 months to school age. Here, little ones immerse themselves in a Russian-speaking setting, developing communication skills, logical thinking, creativity, and independence. Our experienced teachers create a warm atmosphere and provide individualized attention to each child, considering their interests and unique qualities. All teachers speak Russian, offering your little ones an excellent opportunity to immerse themselves in the language. The daycare provides classes focused on early speech development, mathematics, musical hearing, and artistic abilities.

Since 2022, Mishki daycare has been officially licensed by the State of Texas. Located in central Austin at 2008 Justin Lane, Building A, Austin TX 78757, the daycare operates from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday. The group is small – up to 12 children – with a teacher-to-child ratio of 1:4, allowing for ample attention to each child. Children are grouped by age for developmental activities. We have a vast array of educational materials and toys to suit every taste. Children spend a lot of time outdoors in our cozy yard, shaded by a large tree, ensuring comfortable play even during summer. In addition to daily activities, we organize children’s holidays, themed performances, and entertainment events – from Maslenitsa to New Year – with theatrical performances, songs, and games. These events help children express themselves, learn to work in a team, and experience the joy of creativity. The daily schedule includes various games to develop fine motor skills, active outdoor play, and creative workshops. Children also have a nap during the day and enjoy tasty and balanced meals. We take care to ensure that each meal is not only nutritious but also appetizing.

Operating Hours: Monday – Friday: 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM. No registration fee, no charges for days missed due to illness or travel.
