Spring and summer of 2020 have been challenging because of the coronavirus pandemic. We had a free summer camp (virtual camp with optional meetings in the park at the end of the week). The camp program included lessons of the Russian language, science, theater, and drawing, all of which the children loved. Additionally, the camp included daily quests, social time and entertainment breaks. Many parents, as well as other members of the Russian community, volunteered to share their talents with children in the camp and so there were joint trips to the zoo and parks, make-up and cooking classes, a video games club, and much more. The camp began on June 8, 2020 and lasted until August 2020.
